 jobst knee highs 15-20mm are comfy, cute, and normal lookingJun 07, 2010
I'm 5'3" and have pitting edema on my shins, ankles and feet. These socks definitely help, but don't get my legs all the way back to normal either. I got the size M and they fit me perfectly, tho I think the size S would also fit me and possibly have a bit more compression, which would be a good thing. My calf fit in the size S range, but my ankle (while swollen) fit in the size M, so I got the M. If I had got the petite version of this I don't think they would have gone all the way up to my knees comfortably. I wear these almost every day, and really need to get a few more pairs, since it is sort of a hassle to wash them every day. The are very soft, stretchy, normal looking and don't bind at the tops at all. I have absolutely no discomfort while wearing them. I just wish they came in more than just nude, black and white. I want ones that have stripes! :D

My husband has been wearing TEDS stockings for several years. We decided to try a less expensive brand. We followed the size chart exactly for circumference of ankle and calf, and ordered large. They barely reached the knee and would not stay up. They also were heavy and too warm for him. The next size up would probably have been too high, which is not good for compression socks because you cannot have them slouch on your leg. For fit (TEDS goes by circumference AND distance from heel to knee) and comfort, we returned these and went back to TEDS.

Fabric is soft, not constricting and does not cut into your legs. Very comfortable, feels great, stays in place. Launders well. Nice toe 'wiggle room'. Size chart is accurate. Buying more!
